Frequently Asked Questions
Is the building a kit?
No, we construct your building on site.
Does the building include a floor?
Yes.
What does the building sit on?
Our buildings are built on 2" x 4" joists, spaced 12" on center. This sub floor rests on 4" x 4" pressure treated skids and 12" x 12" x 2" concrete pad blocks.
What kind of roofing material does the building have?
Our buildings come standard with 3-Tab asphalt composition shingles. Architectural composition shingles are available for an additional charge.
Can I change the configuration of the building?
Yes. We designed our buildings so that customers can change the location and arrangement of the doors and windows.
How is the building constructed?
Our buildings are constructed with standard
2" x 4", 2" x 6" and 4" x 4" full-dimension lumber. We use residential grade siding and decking materials which are nailed using full-head nails.

Do I need a permit for the building?
The Oregon Uniform Building Code for "Temporary Storage Structures" allows for a building 200 sq. ft. and under with a peak height of 10 ft. and under. It is advised to check with your local building department to find out the regulations for your area. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to purchase any and all required permits.
Do you offer larger sizes?
We do build larger structures. For buildings larger than the listed sizes, we will need to work up a custom bid. Please contact us for a quote.

Yes. Please contact us for a quote.
What if I want to paint the building?
The siding we use in the construction of our buildings comes primed and ready for you to paint.
What about site preparation?
The site needs to be basically flat and free of obstruction or debris. If the site is within 6 inches of level, nothing needs to be done. Leveling of the building is done under the 4" x 4" skids with concrete blocking and shims.
How much clearance is needed around the building?
We need at least 24" of clearance around the entire building for construction. You will appreciate the extra two feet when you are painting the building.
What are the payment options?
We accept cash, check and credit (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). We also offer financing through GE Money on approved credit. We require half payment down upon ordering, with the balance due upon completion.
